this song is just really haunting to me if I'm in the right mood.

I will never in a million years understand what the big freaking deal is about the This Mortal Coil version. this one's better, and was actually recorded because they couldn't get the rights to use the TMC version in the beginning of the film Candy, which has one of the most achingly gorgeous opening sequences I've ever laid my eyes on.

9. ♥ ♥ ♥ Nobody remembers/knows this song. I think I first heard it watching Pop-Up Video on VH1, which is one of the several reasons it makes me nostalgic.

Yeah, doing anything fun for new year's? I'm probably going to a 20s themed party at a bar, so I'm excited.

Jealous. Did you have fun?

I'm a lame-o and spent New Years with my family. It was nice, but I much rather would have spent it at a party, drunk, and with all my friends (only because I have never brought in the New Year like that, and I think it'd be fun). Oh, well, it was still good.

I just hope '09 is significantly better than '08!

As it turned out, my boyfriend had a really bad knee and didn't feel like standing around in a bar. So we ended up just going to a movie. LOL. Quite a contrast to last year when he actually had a party at his house, but still fun.
