The more I think about The Social Network, the more I want to watch it again.

Starting to hate V-day more and more every year just because people complain about it so much. And I kinda don't have a right to say so cause I "have a valentine" but I was single for years and never had a problem with Valentine's Day. Then again I never had a problem with being single. I will say it was way better when you were a kid and it was about friendship and candy and cute little cards. Adults fail at everything.
Whatever. My mom made red velvet cake for the occasion, and I am going to nom on it.

I sort of got offered a job (of a first-come-first-serve-I'm-on-a-list type of deal) at this test scoring place - Left an awkward-ass voicemail when the receptionist said the lines were busy and am regretting it because is it just me or is the concept of anyone who doesn't know you personally ever actually Calling You Back a total myth in this world? And now I have to sit by the phone all day and feel invasive if and when I actually call again. I hate this crap.

I'm off to watch the Misfits pilot with the sister.

ETA: Just to follow up on the Dad's band gossip: They made the finals (so they were one of the eight best bands) but did not win. So there. Awesome.

I love Valentine's Day even though I don't have a Valentine. I think it has something to do with my love of wearing the color red.

I had to go to an orientation and fill out my tax info and stuff so I'm basically employed, I just don't know when they'll need me and it could be a while.
If we come as early as we can Sat., do you have any plans? Like are other people coming that early to hang out? Do you care when we leave? :D I WANT TO TRY SOME MACARONS DAMMIT.

I live here and I think I was the last to find out what they were.

The plan for saturday is still kind of up in the air. Kate and I were thinking drinks and desserts at this fancy place called Cyrano's then coming back here or to her house to hang out buuuut one of her patients, who she had gotten really close to, died this week. So she's got to go to the funeral tomorrow and isn't sure if she'll feel much like hanging out. So we may just be chillaxing here or walking to a bar or something. I know Lamb's coming, but I think that's it other than me and Steve and (hopefully) Kate and Ross. Last I heard Nerd wanted to come, but that was awhile ago. Maybe try to check with her before you go to see if she wants a ride?
Sooo to answer your question, come whenever you want. Just give me a decent heads up so I can be here when you get here.
