I swear it takes over a week of some kind of adjustment period for me to get absolutely anything done outside of work when I get a new job. Even with only working these little four-hour shifts the rest of my day keeps getting sucked into this weird "What is my routine again?" funk. And Sara wants to watch so much Lost, which is difficult to resist. Long rambling post about season three, now that I'm at the end of it, is probably coming soon.
As for the work, it's not bad. The test I'm scoring has a less complicated rubric so it took a lot less time to get used to. I'm definitely not missing the nine-hour days I took on last time.

I am getting pretty excited about Girl With the Dragon Tattoo...There's an 8-minute trailer for it on iTunes right now.
I do feel a little annoying for not really giving a damn about the book (or I guess not being motivated to brave the discomfort of reading it) and then not really giving a damn about the Swedish film and then being excited about the new one, but I admit it took Daniel Craig and David Fincher and a certain Trent Reznor to make me look like this dinosaur.

I don't think it's going to be a perfect movie. I can admit that putting this kind of story in the hands of a director who's been less than perfect with the treatment of female characters in the past...could be a problem. But damn, I feel like I'm going to like, platonically ship the crap out of these two characters even without knowing very much about the novel. I have high hopes.

Thank God Rooney Mara is a better actress than her sister. I miss when Kate Mara was just Ennis del Mar's adorable button-nosed daughter in Brokeback Mountain to me; her character in American Horror Story is so fucking jarring after a while. (I feel bad for saying this because it would really kill me if my sister and I were both actresses or something and she was far more acclaimed than I was, LOL.)

I am behind on Misfits, Walking Dead, and American Horror Story. The only thing I seem to keep up with is SPN. Speaking of Supernatural, there is...a certain spoiler going around, and I'm not unhappy about it, but I wish I didn't know about it.

I hear you in how a new job can make your life really difficult. Always makes me too tired to do anything else.

And the spoiler thing... Urgh. That reminds me I have to leave a comm I like following because some people don't get what is and isn't spoilery. :'(

I haven't touched the book, but I've watched the Swedish film of Girl with a Dragon Tattoo, and it was pretty awesome. Now I'm waiting to see what the Hollywood version will be like. (not saying any more 'cause I don't want to accidentally make a spoiler. :P)

And speaking of spoilers... I am know insanely curious over the spoiler you're talking about is the same as the one I know, or more details on the one I know, or something different altogether. I don't know whether I want you to tell me or not, lol!

As for the Walking Dead, I watched the last episode yesterday. Dude. I want to tell you something, but I have to wait till you watch it, because even though it's not a spoiler, it might become one (depending on how good your memory is, lol).

Lost season 3 was amaziiiiiiiiiing. omg. I recently got a new laptop and I've been going kinda crazy looking for wallpapers and I found sooooo many Lost ones and now I miss it and wanna watch the whole thing again.

I'm sure Girl with the Dragon Tattoo will be well-made and stylish, but the Swedish movie was just SO GOOD I can't help thinking the remake is unnecessary. Still, I do love pretty much everyone involved with it, so. (I....still don't know Kate Mara as anything other than adorable button-nosed Alma Jr) aaaaaand oh balls, Supernatural is one of the only shows of mine I'm not caught up on. *spoiler feeeear*

Haha, there are always a multitude of SPN spoilers out there, so I don't know if we'd be thinking of the same thing! But maybe? Probably?

WHAT OF THE WALKING DEAD? I just caught up earlier today ( D: )

You saw it. Right.

Ok, the moment Sophia comes walking out of that barn, I thought of you, and how you said that, when Daryl found her doll, nobody thought that it wasn't necesarily a good thing. Because apparently, it actually wasn't.

(I was pretty sure she'd be a zombie when they found her, because it had been so long and how far could she have gotten - plus your comment about the doll got me thinking - but I did not for the life of me expect her to be in the barn)

as for the SPN spoiler... ok, I'll just ask this, to determine if I want to learn further: is it Bobby or Castiel related?

I actually had the thought of "WHAT IF SOPHIA'S IN THE BARN?" but I never thought they would actually go there (This week I also had the thought of "What if Locke's father is the real Sawyer?" while watching Lost...I was more pleased to be right about that). But it was definitely getting to the point when I was hoping they would just give up cause it had been so long and I kept thinking "Uh, you might find her, but you're not going to feel good about what you see" :(

The spoiler is related to Castiel ;)

oooh you're GOOD! Good job with both! I don't remember whether me or my friend had figured out about Locke's father being Sawyer, but with Sophia, my friend had the same thought as you as they were killing the zombies that were coming out of the barn. She said it as a joke - and then it happened, it was weird.

As for the spoiler, I already know it (I follow Misha Collins on Twitter. :P) But I don't know any specifics, if they've even been released, so I'm trying to stay away from any further comments, lol.
