The more I think about The Social Network, the more I want to watch it again.

Starting to hate V-day more and more every year just because people complain about it so much. And I kinda don't have a right to say so cause I "have a valentine" but I was single for years and never had a problem with Valentine's Day. Then again I never had a problem with being single. I will say it was way better when you were a kid and it was about friendship and candy and cute little cards. Adults fail at everything.
Whatever. My mom made red velvet cake for the occasion, and I am going to nom on it.

I sort of got offered a job (of a first-come-first-serve-I'm-on-a-list type of deal) at this test scoring place - Left an awkward-ass voicemail when the receptionist said the lines were busy and am regretting it because is it just me or is the concept of anyone who doesn't know you personally ever actually Calling You Back a total myth in this world? And now I have to sit by the phone all day and feel invasive if and when I actually call again. I hate this crap.

I'm off to watch the Misfits pilot with the sister.

ETA: Just to follow up on the Dad's band gossip: They made the finals (so they were one of the eight best bands) but did not win. So there. Awesome.
