An extremely off-topic but hilarious discussion the Galactica Watercooler bunch got into in their last Podcast:

Audra: You know, I haven't watched Cookie Monster in a long time, but I heard he's eating vegetables now. And that they took his cookies away.
Sean: What!?
Audra: Yeah, my students told me that. They're like, "Oh yeah, he's Fruit And Vegetables Monster now," and I'm like, NOOOOOO. . .
Sean: Oh, frak that, man, there's no way. . .
Chuck: That's jacked up.
Audra: They're like, "They thought he was promoting child obesity, so they. . ." and I'm like --
Chuck: You know what, Sean -- Sean has this great Cookie Monster shirt that he wears all the time.
Sean: Man, I love my Cookie Monster shirt!
Chuck: I'm gonna get him, like, a Vegetable Monster shirt, cause Sean eats like at least two vegetables. . .
Sean: a year.
Audra: And they're like, "Well, kids wanna imitate cookie monster" and I'm like, if you let your kid take a box of one thousand cookies and eat 'em all at once, then Cookie Monster is not the problem, okay? Your kid's like, NOM NOM NOM. . .Crumbs flying everywhere. . .
Chuck: Yeah, he doesn't put them in his mouth, he just like, chews them up and then crumbs fly everywhere.
Sean: Yeah, that's kinda why he was cool.
Audra: Actually, that's kinda how I eat cookies too.
Chuck: If your kids do that, then they're not gonna get fat.
Sean: Right! That's fine!
Audra: Most of it lands on the walls, right?
Chuck: Especially if they go OM NOM NOM NOM!
Sean: --NOM NOM NOM! Yeah.
Audra (imitating cookie monster): I can't has cookie.
Sean: . . .Vegetable Monster. What a load of. . .CRAP.
Audra (imitating Colonel Tigh): Cuhraaaaaap.
