Finally, trolls with a good sense of humor: THE TERRAN EMPIRE IS OVERTAKING ontd_startrek. Watch out, guys. Don't wanna get thrown into the agony booth.
LOL, seriously, they've even adopted accounts that are basically mirror versions of the existing mods, with like goatees drawn over their usual icons. Ingenious is what this is. It's turning into a big RP party with people trying to sneak food to the prisoners and whatnot.
Naturally every one of these *incidents* is turning into an impromptu party post. Though this crap is never gonna stop if people keep commenting on the posts...

Edit: Okay, so this is some kind of hardcore mutiny, since these guys seem to actually have mod status. How...What. HOW? Now I get why people are actually pretty worried abut this. It will probably carry over into an April fools thing, I bet.
Edit Deux: Yeah, it's totally the mods.

Yeah, I've seen similar mod pranks before, and they got started days in advance so that it might not be obvious it was a prank. I'm wondering if the stuff that happened yesterday was actual trolling that inspired the mods to have some fun with it, cause it wasn't as amusing and well-put-together at first.

"Walk without rhythm"? It's in "Weapon of Choice" by Fatboy Slim, but that's actually quoted from Dune, when they're trying to keep the big worm things from coming to the surface. Which cracked me up when I was watching the movie and realized a lot of that song references Dune.
