1. Had to miss out on a wedding I was planning to go to because of an incapacitating migraine. This is the second time I've ever had one that was so bad I had to throw up. (My sister managed to make me laugh, though: "You couldn't even finish your banana. You're so pathetic.") At least it wasn't like last time when I felt like I couldn't even lie down because any pressure to any part of my head seemed to make it worse. I kind of wanted to throw things at everybody who asked me "Did you take something?" though. Cause first of all, migraine. Secondly, yes.

2. The new Arcade Fire leaked and is awesome. I love "Modern Man" and "Ready To Start," though with the latter I get that weird they-should-have-written-the-song-this-way feeling, namely, I think the chorus should be a bridge.

3. "Lothario" is my new favorite word. On the other hand, I googled one of my favorite original character names and found that it's a goddamn Pokemon. FML.

4. On the beginning of season 2 of Lost. Jack and Sawyer are like the two halves of Leonard McCoy and Jack got all the boring parts. I love Jin now. My friend Nerd compared our general social group to the characters of the show and I ended up being Sun. Cause I'm "full of secrets." LOL. Nobody got to be Sayid cause Sayid's too awesome, I guess.

5. Seriously trying not to get carpal tunnel syndrome (LOL), trying to eat more protein. I feel like I've gained a couple pounds and I'm quite happy if I'm right.

I've never had a migraine in my life, so I've no idea what amount of pain we're talking about, but I imagine it's *bad*. You have my complete sympathies and hugs and Spock to come play soothing Vulcan music for you.

Also, re:Lost. LOL!! That poor Jack did. It's a pity, because he's a jice character, but he's just too damn responsible and serious and despite the fact that Sawyer starts out as a jerk, he soon becomes just plain awesome, and so overshadows Jack. Poor Jack. (though I blame Kate for everything. Make up your damn mind, you stupid woman!!)

Sayid IS the epitome of awesome. I cannot describe just how smart and just plain epic that man is.

also, what's your opinion of Desmond? I know you haven't really seen much of him just yet, if you're at the beginning of S2, but still. I just love him. He's handsome, and cool, and Scotish. That about does it for me. :P

Maybe if Jack and Sawyer started ignoring Kate and just had their own awkward little friendship, I'd like everyone more. I really liked that moment when Sawyer finally told Jack about meeting his father. But the whole love triangle drama is kind of infamous and I'm just kind of hardening myself towards Kate in advance, LOL.
Desmond. I love the whole feel that he used to be this super happy-go-lucky guy and went a little bit off the deep end but, you know, still plays his cheesy music and all. I don't know, I hope we find out more about him.

actually, Jack and Sawyer doing what you said would have been SO much better. Damn Kate. Yeah, harden yourself like you said - the woman is just plain smack-worthy.

ouuuuuuch I've nver had a migraine that bad. My best friend has, though. They look like hell on toast :(

YAY LOST! I have....issues with Jack. I kind of loathe him. He's a good person and undoubtedly means well, but he just flounders in the leadership role they put him in and I can't see him without wanting to punch him in the face. (I also resent how every episode of his is all about the saaame daddy issues aaall the time) Sawyer, on the other hand, has one of the best character arcs on the show. and Sayid IS too awesome :D I also love Sun, she's my second-favourite female on the show.

Haha, I really started out being okay with Jack but for some reason I sometimes wanna punch him in the face too. And usually I'm all about the reluctant leaders, but for being that type, he doesn't really...listen to what anybody else has to say, and he's extremely impulsive and sometimes almost just plain dumb.
