(For the record, I agonized over the definition of "romantic pairing" because when a ship is more ambiguous or subtextual or just too far from canon it's difficult for me to consider them romantic? I stopped thinking too hard about it and just went with my gut.)

Top 5 In the Woods/The Likeness moments

5. The phone call in The Likeness (You know the one).
4. Rob camping at Knocknaree (I just remember it being perfectly written and effectively a bit creepy).
3. Daniel demanding Cassie's actual identity and their whole conversation in the garden.
2. When the rock goes through the window and some of the Whitethorn House kids - Cassie included - chase after the vandal and beat him up. (It's just a super intense moment and the first time we really see the reckless momentum of all of Cassie's emotional baggage. I love it.)
1. Everything in the surveillance van overhearing Cassie talking to Rosalind, and a bit after. (It was really Cassie at her most badass but simultaneously she was incredibly vulnerable...and then Rob wanting to comfort her and her almost letting him before she remembered, and oh, my heart.)

We unexpectedly have a new kitten.



He was hiding in Shep's dad's barn when he went to go return these tables he borrowed, so of course he went "He's so cute and all alone!" and came home with it. We named him Jones (A+ if you get the reference) and we're grateful the other cat hasn't killed him yet ( D: )

AWWWWWW, KITTEN!!! OMG, UTTERLY ADORABLE!! (the only “Jones” that comes to my mind right now is Indy, LOL). Plus, I love the BSG poster at the background: you guys have good taste, haha.

I pretty much agree with your ITW/TL moments, especially your #1, though it’s so difficult for me to choose only five. I’d also add, maybe, the phone call in ITW, because… you know, everything about it is so tragic, it pretty much killed me.

Great choices for your Top 5 Literature-Film Adaptations! The fact that you’ve picked Jurassic Park as your number one makes me want to rewatch (the BF is a fan, but I’ve only seen it once, when it was released and I was super young, and all I remember is that the dinosaurs were really awesome *g*). Mmm… And I should read Atonement sometime. I bought the novel a while ago, but haven't got around to read it yet.

There's a cat who lives on the ship in the first Alien movie named Jones. It's pretty obscure as geeky pet names go XD

Cassie and Rob as your #1 romantic pairing surprised me a little, honestly I suppose my criteria was something like "Which pairings have HURT me the most?", especially for them to beat out Kara/Lee, haha.

I almost did include the ITW phone call instead. It's interesting to connect the two, considering how Rob and Cassie have managed to be on the phone with each other twice ever since Op Vestal and neither time has Cassie really spoken to him.

Jurassic Park will always be a favorite of mine since I could watch it over and over again when I was a kid. There were rumors a while ago that they were going to release a 3D version, and even though I'm pretty indifferent about 3D I would really like to see it in theaters again.
