White Collar comes back toniiight. This is going to be the first time I've actually caught a show as it's airing in a ridiculously long time. I'm gonna be all WHAT ARE THESE COMMERCIAL BREAKS??

I've been watching the beginning of Twin Peaks and it is weird. It's David Lynch so I kind of expected weird, but damn it's weird. Very funny at some parts, though.
I could have sworn the guy who plays Bobby is the guy who played Mouse in the Matrix but they are totally different people. I maintain that I might have warmed to The Matrix a lot more if they'd kept Mouse around. The last time I tried to watch it I pretty much realized I could only care about the minor characters (Tank <3).

Speaking indirectly of Keanu Reeves: One of the only anime series I've ever cared about is Cowboy Bebop, and I am kind of living in denial of it looking to be inescapable that there's going to be a goddamn movie with him playing Spike Spiegel and this is the worst idea I have ever heard. I am the most laid-back about adaptations of any fan of anything, I don't do the whole "the movie ruined it" whining because I just see adaptations as their own evolutionary creative process or whatever (my final thesis last semester actually had a lot to do with that) with their own creative merits, blah blah blah, but this movie is going to piss me off. Even if Keanu turned in the greatest performance of his career, there is nothing about him that is right for the role. Fail, fail, fail, fail, fail, FAIL.
(Not to mention I have totally bought into the theory that Spike is Jewish.)
Of course a lot of the fans are saying they'll take Reeves as long as they can get Yoko Kanno to do the music for the movie cause having anyone else would just seem wrong.

The soundtrack for Inception (Zimmer, sans Newton Howard this time) is out. I think I'll wait till I see the movie to hear what it's like.
