I got paired with a real aggressive bastard in fencing today. Like, we can all see that you're bigger and faster than pretty much anybody in this class, I think you can get your hits in without actually bruising me around the ribs in the process. Jeez. :/

I got rear-ended on my way home from the store. It wasn't a big deal, but oh god, I was so glad that the cop we called decided the damage wasn't bad enough to write a report, because I just happened to be cleaning out my wallet earlier and hadn't put my up-to-date insurance card back in before I left (I had the old one for some reason so I was able to give that information to the other person). Of course I would've gotten out of trouble when I could prove I was insured later on, but I'm pretty sure they have to confiscate your car on the spot if you don't have the card and that would've been a no good very bad day, especially when, um, everyone I know well enough to ask for a ride lives almost an hour away D:

I have...a mixed attitude on the flavored tobacco ban. I'm not like pissed because I don't exactly want to fervently defend tobacco companies and I'm far, far from being a regular smoker, but...I'm probably not going to be able to get clove cigarettes anymore and I love those. I've heard mixed reports on whether Djarum products are about to be illegal, but the guy in my senior writing class seemed pretty sure that they will be. I just...ugh. Don't get me started on this notion that young people who start smoking are going to not start smoking because they can't get their cutesy nasty strawberry cigars. Cause when you can't LEGALLY buy it you're totally going to be selective. I don't know how the minors at my high school got their cigarettes, but I sure as hell wasn't seeing them smoke anything flavored. The fractional libertarian in me will be raging at this for a while. Wow, I guess I am a little pissed.

I watched The Plan, and seemingly loved it more than 90% of BSG fandom. I'll have to get out a real reaction post soon.
