Recently a couple little fancasts for Tana French's books have popped up on Tumblr, only some of which have been even remotely congruous to the descriptions of the characters or of the fact that the novels are set in Ireland or just of my image of them. Since the current theme at picspammy is "Crime and Law Enforcement" I figured it would be fitting to stop whining and do my own. I had a hard time narrowing down how many characters I would do and settled on sticking to the guards and, hypocritically enough, I've managed to only cast half of the characters who would ideally be played by Irish actors with Irish actors. But hey, no yankees.

I've been in the Twilight fandom for like a minute and I'm already sick to tears of seeing Emily Browning and Gaspard Ulliel's faces all over the place. Mostly because everybody just seems to be copy-catting everybody else in who they envision the characters to look like (I mean, props to whoever started suggesting them first, but. . .). To me the two together just have this kind of goth look that totally works against the originality of Meyer's vision of a vampire fantasy.

For the general hell of it, here is my Twilight series "cast list." Keep in mind that a lot of these people couldn't realistically be cast as these characters in the movies; that's not the idea. In some cases, if I can't think of any person who looks anything like how I imagine, I might just look for an actor that has the same sorta personality.
